Readiness)
Cost: $500 a year (payable in monthly installments)
Hours: 8:00am-2:30pm.
Days: Wednesdays, starting the first Wednesday in September
and ending the last Wednesday in May. We are not in session during
Christmas Break.
Where: We meet at the Greenwald school building in the
Kindergarten classroom.
Transportation: The parents are responsible for getting their
child to and from school; however if a bus does go by your home,
they will bring
Preschool children to and from school.
About our program
The teacher is Mrs. Schreiner and she has an assistant and a
volunteer grandparent, that are with the class all day as well. The
children enrolled are between the ages of 3 and 5.
The primary focus of our preschool is the children’s social
behaviors; however we work on academic and motor skills as well. The
curriculum consists of a letter of the week format and a weekly
theme. We practice printing each letter and talk about the
letter’s sound and words that begin with that sound. After we
complete the 26 letters, we work on a number each week up to the
number 10. Each week we read stories, sing songs and create projects
that revolve around our weekly theme as well .
