Lenten
Prayer
As
we enter into the second week of Lent the students will continue for
focus on prayer, fasting, and almsgiving.
Almighty
and Everlasting God, you have given the human race Jesus Christ our
Savior as a model of humility. He fulfilled Your Will by
becoming Man and giving His life on the Cross. Help us to bear
witness to You by following His example of suffering and make us
worthy to share in His Resurrection. We ask this through our
Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son. Amen. Parent/Teacher
Conferences Parent/Teacher
Conferences will be on Thursday, March 4th. Conference time
schedules are being sent home today in the parent envelope. If
there is a conflict with the scheduled time, please contact the
classroom teacher to make other arrangements. Steak
& Wine A
big THANK YOU to all parents for your hard work and commitment to
the Steak & Wine. We had a very successful night thanks to

wrap up meeting will be held Monday, March 1st at 8:00 pm at the
Greenwald school. Please bring any outstanding bills to the
meeting. Kindergarten
Roundup Kindergarten
Roundup for St. John's- St. Andrew's will be held on Thursday, March
11th at 1:00 pm at the St. Andrew's school building. Parents
will meet with Mrs. Schreiner, Mr. Bachel, and the school
nurse. The incoming Kindergarteners will be able to interact
in the classroom with the current Kindergarteners and they will also
go on a bus ride with their parents! Parents PLEASE tell
anyone you may know who would have a child Kindergarten age and
invite them to come! Scrip A
SCRIP order will be placed on Monday, March 1st. Purchase SCRIP for
your everyday shopping. Walmart/Sam's Club, Subway, JCPenney,
Pizza Hut are just a few places where you can shop with National
SCRIP. Land's End is offering 16% to the school right
now, Gymboree 13%, and Old Navy 9%! Please read the
enclosed letter that was sent home today in the parent envelope for
more details on Melrose (local) SCRIP and an order form. Send
your orders to school or call Sandy and she will be more than happy
to help you with your orders! Remember, you always get 100% of
the value! All proceeds fund our Accelerated Reading
